Ben Jones

Ben works are a systems engineer at Adept and his job involves the overall design and support of machine vision systems and components for our customers. One of his roles involves providing advice for both hardware and software issues. He also takes an active role in the IT infrastructure for the company and in organising processes.

Ben has previously run his own private PC sales and maintenance company which has given him a complete and thorough knowledge of today's operating systems, software and computer hardware. Ben also worked for many years at Murdoch and Notre Dame Universities as a systems design engineer. He has built a variety of automated systems for experimental apparatus, data acquisition, identity management and web content management.

Born in Sydney but raised most of his life as a local WA boy here in Perth he enjoys spending time in the garden, walking his dog and counts his 10 year relationship with his partner Emma as one of his more important achievements. Ben strives to be the best and mixes that with the ambition to be happy while doing so. He brings an infectious laughter and down-to-earth friendliness into the Perth office along with a bucket load of skills and experience.
